CM Commerce is powering up: All the new stuff we have released recently
The last couple of months has flown by here at CM Commerce HQ. Since we made the decision to focus on only email and reviews tools, we have managed to release a bunch of new things to improve the product and help take your email marketing to the next level.
This post is a quick recap of the things we have built for you recently. We know that you likely have a never-ending to do list already, so working through a long list of new things to check out is not viable.
Instead I only want to add two items to your to do list:

- Many of the things we have built have been focused on helping you recover more of your abandoned cart revenue. Let’s get into the goodies we’ve released recently:
- Be a better salesperson in your abandoned cart email sequences by including the primary benefits / unique selling propositions for your products alongside some recent customer testimonials. You can also use product star ratings in your subject line or email copy to help you better convert your prospects.
- Need more product reviews or customer feedback? Here’s a super-quick way to ramp up your social proof within minutes.
- A powerful and unique integration with Smile.io (a leader in the loyalty & rewards space). Easily reward your customers when they leave a product review or grow your Rewards program with smart segmentation and email prompts in CM Commerce.
- Our segmentation capabilities has a major focus area. We introduced CM Commerce Pro along with the addition of Custom Properties for your customers. We have also added location data for your customers and support for Customer Tags (as part of today’s new release for receipt segmentation).
- Get notified about unhappy customers so that you can turn a frown, upside-down.
- A quick and easy way to increase the open rate of your newsletters by 30%.
- Our Shopify merchants can now easily run a simple “Buy-One-Get-One” campaign with our new BOGO block.
- We made CM Commerce fully GDPR-compliant and released an additional app (Cooki) to help you get consent from your website visitors. If you are sending receipts with CM Commerce, we also created a new opt-in block to help you get consent from more customers for your post-purchase follow-up emails.
Phew! That is quite a mouthful even for me to write out.
And we’re not slowing down either… Later this month we will be levelling up our product review functionality greatly before releasing new features to help you build trust next month. Both of these will be big new releases that will help you make the most of upcoming peak retail season (from Black Friday through Cyber Monday and then Christmas).
