Welcome Emails, Simple Drip Campaigns & New Integrations

We’re really excited to be working with you in 2017 and we hope that your business will just go from strength-to-strength. We also hope to play a significant part in helping you achieve just that.

To kick things off this year, we have a few new features to announce.

One of our primary product focusses is extending the Newsletters functionality that we released in November. In a short space of time, we’ve already sent 5 million newsletters, learnt a lot about email deliverability and received some amazing feedback from our customers. Here’s my favourite bit of feedback we received:

I wanted to let you know that the results with your newsletter have been amazing thus far. We have operated for 3+ years and using Rare & Mailchimp. We have year-over-year tracking and CM Commerce newsletters are converting better at approx 11% and revenue is up 60% – versus last year with a similar email offer. Thank you to you and your team.

The features we’re announcing today is then in support of this momentum and in the hope that we can help more of our customers achieve similar results from their CM Commerce-powered newsletter email marketing.

Welcome Emails

First new feature is a simple new addition to Follow-Up Emails to allow you to send a Welcome Email to new subscribers of your mailing list(s). You can use all of our available marketing modules, which means that this is perfect to send a new subscriber a personalised discount coupon (to convert them to customers).

Simple Drip Campaigns

This is something that I’m quite excited about… Before today, we’ve enabled drip campaigns only in relation to actual actual customers and purchasing behaviour. The way most of our customers have used Follow-Up Emails for this is to send first-time customers a series of emails to get them to make a second purchase or sending a series of emails to win back inactive customers.

This same functionality is now available for your Newsletter subscribers and is perfect for converting your subscribers to paying customers. We’ve published more information about drip campaigns here.

New Integrations

Another one of our primary focus areas for Q1 will be to build a bunch of new integrations with third-party apps to extend the value and use of your CM Commerce dashboard. We know we’re your all-in-one marketing dashboard, but we know you’re also using other apps and we’re okay not being exclusive. Yet. 🙂

The first live integration is with Optinmonster, which is a great lead capturing / generation tool. You can now build your mailing list with Optinmonster and use CM Commerce Newsletters and Follow-Up Emails to email them (and convert them to customers).

We also have a few planned integrations that are coming soon. (Click on that link to tell us about your favourite third-party apps that you’d like to connect with CM Commerce.)
