New Features: Customer Profiles, All the Receipts & an API

Guest Author

It’s been a bit of a whirlwind since we launched CM Commerce (previously Receiptful) publicly two weeks ago.

Every day we’re sending more receipts than the day before and it’s very apparent that our customers (and their businesses) are dynamic and active. This has meant that we’ve had to at least match their pace in tweaking our product: adding further improvements and new features.

I’ve included a quick overview of the new things that is now available within CM Commerce:

Customer Profiles

Customer Profiles

Getting to know your customers is important and we’ve now also made this easy for you to do in CM Commerce. Along with rich meta data (social links and profiles), we’ve also added an overview of how an individual customer is interacting with your receipts.

For us, this marks the first steps we’re taking onto our extended roadmap, where the data and learning (about how individuals interact with your receipts) will enhance the product to the point where CM Commerce can automatically tailor the messages and upsells to have a higher probability of success.

All The Receipts

All The Receipts

We’ve now also made an overview of all your receipts available. From the overview, you’re able to see which receipts have been delivered, opened or whether an action was taken.

You are also able to quickly re-send a receipt if it was not delivered to a customer before.

The API

We initially launched CM Commerce with only an out-of-box integration for WooCommerce. This was purposeful, because we didn’t know how our API would hold up on larger volumes of usage.

Along with all of our WooCommerce users though, we’ve also been using our API to send CM Commerce’s own receipts (inception!) and we’re happy to report that we’ve done so without any hitches. 🙂

You can view our API documentation here.

Other new things

In addition to these new features, there’s also a couple of other improvements and additions we made to the product:

We’re also excited about some of the structural tweaks and additions we’ve made to both the product and our WooCommerce plugin. There’s a couple of new features in the works that will be using these and we hope to announce them soon.
